A midsummer night’s nap
Meet the Cast
MICHELLE loves to create, so performing at one of her favorite places, Creative Co-Op, was a sure fit. Some previous shows at the studio found her backstage wrangling kiddo performers. Today (like back in the day) she’s ON stage, actin’ silly and having fun! Oh yeah, and there’s some Shakespeare! Big thanks to our director, The Notorious A.V.G.
MEREDITH is excited to be back on stage a second time at Creative Co-Op! She would like to thank Beth for her friendship and repeated watchings of the 1999 version of Midsummer Night's Dream, Noah and Abigail for being inspiring in their courage to perform, her husband Ben for his unwavering love and support, and to Amy for giving her direction and space to act completely unhinged!
JOE is thrilled to once again be a part of a Creative Co-Op production with this amazing cast of thespians. By day he toils at his computer and occasionally wanders off to dream of what may come. And behold his favorite play by the bard doth appear in another form as ‘A Midsummer Night’s Nap.’ And once again, his love of theater and a chance to perform comes to life with the thought, “Though this be madness, yet there is method in it.”
ALICIA is very excited to be a part of a Midsummer Night's Nap! This is her second performance at Creative Co-Op and it has been another wonderful experience. Taking on Shakespeare has been challenging yet fun, and a great opportunity to expand my theatre skills. Thank you to Amy, for all your support and for trusting me with such quirky and comical characters. As always, thank you to my beautiful family for your love and support.
JOSILYN is excited to be performing for the second time with the Creative Co-Op crew! However, I am looking forward to the day when the Royal Shakespeare Company comes knocking on my door and I will fulfill my true destiny. Thank you to Amy, the entire cast, and my long-suffering family for tolerating my dramatic aspirations once more! "I like this place and could willingly waste my time in it."--William Shakespeare
BETSY is excited to be back at Creative Co-Op for this performance! It’s been so great spending time with such a fantastic and talented cast! I will miss sitting next to the most amazing narrators and laughing so much (both on cue and off). Thank you, Amy, for helping me remember how much I love theater! And thank you to my family - you are my reason for everything.
STEFANI is so grateful to be performing in her second play at Creative Co-Op. The joy of performing Shakespeare in such wonderful company, has filled my cup. I never knew how much fun it could be to play a wall. The biggest thank you to Amy, Noel, and the talented cast. Forever grateful to Paul and my girls for the unconditional love and support.
MEGAN is a lifelong learner, performer, and educator. With an extensive history of performing on stages and concert halls of all sizes, her true love has always been the theatre. She holds a BS in Elementary Education and Theatre Arts, as well as an Elementary Reading Specialist Master’s Degree and has been an elementary educator for the last sixteen years. In addition to teaching, Megan loves playing outside with her two amazing boys, year-round iced coffees, and beach days with her beautiful neurodivergent family.
COLBY is delighted to be performing in his third show with Creative Co-Op! He’s not the biggest Shakespeare fan but he absolutely loves ‘Something Rotten!’ and other Shakespearian spoofs! Some favorite notable credits include: Creative Co-Op’s ‘A Christmas Carol,’ ‘Parts of Me: A New Musical’ and Stage 284’s ‘Legally Blonde. He hopes you enjoy the show!
BETH Hark! With boundless joy do I declare my return to yon Creative Co-Op stage, wherein I shall partake in a merry adaptation of this most cherished Shakespearean tale. To embody my beloved character amidst this troupe of wondrous players is verily a dream realized. I extend my gratitude to fair Amy, bright Merry, the esteemed Creative Co-Op, and noble Adam for granting me leave to embrace my inner sprite of whimsy. Thus do I proclaim, this becometh the essence of my being henceforth.
